The City of Dana Point Free Family Friendly Science Night is Thursday February 15 2018.
Dana Point Science Night is at The Dana Point Community Center at 6:30pm till 8:00pm.
Join in to learn about the unique geological formations found throughout Orange County including the Headlands, Laguna Beach caves, Balboa peninsula and the San Onofre breccia.
Guest speaker John Wilkerson was a local natural history teacher for 30+ years, spending his summers as a Naturalist as the Olympic National Park.
He currently leads geology tours at several OC Wilderness Parks and Crystal Cove State Park.
Join in to learn about local ecosystems, California’s unique flora and fauna, and new science research in Orange County.
Presentations feature local and esteemed experts from the scientific community.
The Dana Point Community Center is located at 34052 Del Obispo Street.
Learn about current Science-related topics presented in a family-friendly format.
Generally, hands-on activities and/or displays will be present and geared towards children.
