Containment: Zero Containment at 9:30pm Saturday June 2 2018.
Fire Location: Aliso Fire started at Aliso Woods Canyon Trial
Fire Type: Vegetation Wind Driven Fire
Fire Damage: 250 acres+/Zero Structures/1 Firefighter suffered leg injuries.
Evacuations: 1500 Laguna Beach Residents from Top of the World and Old Top of the World Neighborhood evacuated thru Sunday June 3 2018.
Aliso Viejo Residents in the Pacific Park and Wood Canyon Area at 7:00pm June 2 2018.
(Approximately 2000 homes were effected)
Aliso Viejo Residents were evacuated to American Red Cross Shelter at Aliso Niguel High School.
Aliso Viejo Residential Evacuations were allowed to return home at 9:00pm Saturday June 2 2018.
Orange County Sheriffs Department in Aliso Viejo will have extra patrols in the Aliso Viejo Evacuation area overnight.
Animal Safety: All Animals From Laguna Beach Animal Shelter were relocated.
Fire Management: Orange County Fire Authority
Fire Fighters: Over 400 Firefighters that includes 8 fire strike teams, 6 air tankers, and 4 helicopters teaming up with Orange County Sheriff Department (OCSD) Deputies and Laguna Beach Police Department (LBPD) Officers.
Firefighters will be working throughout the night to stop this fire and ensure the safety of all of the citizens.
Fire strike teams will also be on stand-by throughout the night if needed.
