Laguna Beach Design Review Meeting Thursday June 14 2018

The Laguna Beach Design Review Board meets Thursday June 14 2018 at 6:00pm.
The meeting will be at City Council Chambers located at 505 Forest Avenue.
The public is encouraged to attend.

Proposed Discussion Items Include:

Review and Discussion of various development projects on various streets in Laguna Beach.

Alta Laguna Boulevard

Anita Street

Catalina Street

Del Mar Avenue

Glenneyre Street

High Drive

Oriole Drive

Summit Drive

Temple Hills Drive

Special Projects Include:

Montage Resort: The applicant requests design review for a two-year extension of time.

Laguna Canyon Road Merge Lane Extension.
Caltrans requests design review and a coastal development permit to extend the existing northbound Laguna Canyon Road (SR-133) merge lane an additional 430 feet north of Canyon Acres Drive. The purpose of the project is to improve traffic safety by providing a longer distance to allow traffic to merge down to one lane.
The applicant request a timely continuance to a date to be determined.

The Water Quality Department requests design review and a coastal development permit to install an odor facility in a 152 square-foot building at the Bluebird South Orange County Wastewater Authority (SOCWA) lift station.
Improvements include repairing the existing stairs, adding a decomposed granite path and adding low growing landscaping.
