Public Comments

Members of the public may address the Board of Supervisors on any (or multiple) items on the agenda (excluding public hearings) or on any issue that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Board.
Comments shall be limited to three minutes per person unless different time limits are set by the Chairman subject to the approval of the Board.

Proposed Discussion Items at 9:30am Include:

Approval of the Memorandum of Understanding with Capistrano Unified School District allows the Sheriff-Coroner Department to define roles and responsibilities for school resource officers to effectively partner with Capistrano Unified School District to aid in maintaining safety and order in the school environment.

Approval of the selection of and Agreement with Mariposa Women and Family Center for provision of On-Site Engagement in Collaborative Courts Services will assist in providing resources, education and support to individuals in Orange County’s Homeless Collaborative Court System, their family members and/or support persons.

Approval of the Friends of the Library license agreement template will further support and formalize the relationship between Friends of the Library nonprofit organizations and OC Public Libraries.

Authorization for the Social Services Agency to expand the CalFresh Restaurant Meals Program will enable homeless, disabled and elderly CalFresh recipients to purchase meals at participating restaurants with their CalFresh benefits countywide.
