Open Casa: The Irvine Museum Collection in Irvine California is on view from November 9 2018 – March 10 2019 and is free with general admission to Casa Romantica.
Casa Romantica will showcase some of the most significant holdings of The Irvine Museum Collection at the University of California, Irvine in Casa Romantica’s stunning Spanish Revival exhibition space and cultural center by the sea.
The Idle Hour captures the beauty of the Southern California landscape as it was painted by the West Coast’s most renowned plein air artists between 1850 and 1930 and includes works by Joseph Kleitsch, Colin Campbell Cooper, Arthur Rider, Franz Bischoff, Granville Redmond, and Laguna Art Museum co-founder Anna Hill.
