Vintage Surfboard Collectors Club (VSCC) Vintage Surf Swap is at 7:00am-1:00pm at San Clemente’s Surfing Heritage & Culture Center.
VSCC member, Dave Matuszak, has completed the most comprehensive history of surfing ever attempted (nearly 1500 pages)–San Onofre: Memories of a Legendary Surfing Beach.
Dave’s premier book signing event is Saturday December 1 2018 at 11:00am at San Clemente’s Surf Heritage and Cultural Center (SHACC).
A panel of surf culture notables will do a Q & A, including Paul Strauch, Kalani Akui, Don Craig, Steve Pezman, Steve & Barrie Boehne, Jericho Poppler Bartlow, Joyce Hoffman, and 20+ others.
A number of the oldest surviving members of the San Onofre Surfing Club are hopeful participants, depending on how they feel that day (They are all in their 90s.)
