The City of San Juan Capistrano Tree Lighting Ceremony begins the San Juan Capistrano city wide Holiday Celebration that concludes at a The Mission San Juan.
This is a San Juan Capistrano Family Friendly Holiday Event.
San Juan Capistrano Tree Lighting Celebration is a Free Family Friendly Holiday Event that starts at 4:00pm at Historic Town Center Park.
Historic Town Center Park is located at 31852 El Camino Real.

Stroll down to Los Rios Park for a free photo with Santa Claus, a Holiday Train Ride, Holiday Puppet Show, Arts & Crafts, Story Time With Mrs. Claus, Greet Costumed Characters Elsa and Olaf of Frozen and Greet Costumed Character The Grinch, Living Nativity performances and admission to ZOOMARS.
Musicians and String Quartets will be located throughout the area adding to the ambiance of the evening.
San Juan Capistrano downtown restaurants and shops will stay open late for convenient holiday shopping and complimentary refreshments.
San Juan Capistrano Holiday Celebration Sustainability Transportation Solutions
The City of San Juan Capistrano is offering free shuttle service to residents and visitors attending this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration.
Shuttles will be available at the following locations:
South Coast Church – 31501 Avenida Los Cerritos,
J Serra Catholic High School – 26351 Junipero Serra Road
The San Juan Capistrano city trolley will follow the same route as the summer program, with one additional stop at Mission Grill Restaurant.

Mission Capistrano Light Show December 2 2018 thru January 6 2019
Capistrano Lights 2018 is a nightly tree lighting at 5:00 p.m.
Guests must be on the grounds before closing at 5:00pm to enjoy the lighting experience.
After the Mission closes, guests can take their complimentary downtown San Juan Capistrano map and discover the historic downtown district with plenty of holiday shopping, dining, and wine tasting all season long.
Tickets are $10.00 for Adults/$9.00 for Seniors/$7.00 for Children/Free for Mission Members
Excludes: Monday, December 24, 2018, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 and Tuesday, December 31, 2018.
