The Sacred Tibetan Arts Tour is returning to Laguna Beach at The Sawdust Art Festival Grounds on Tuesday January 29 2019 thru Sunday February 3 2019.
The Sacred Tibetan Arts Tour will feature a week long creation of the White Tara Mandala.
The White Tara Mandala is a Tibetan Buddhist tradition that involves the making of an intricate mandala from colored sand that is then ritualistically dismantled upon completion, to symbolize the Buddhist belief in the transitory nature of material life.
The public is invited to observe the creation of the mandala daily during the week of January 28 2019 to February 3 2019 and also enjoy traditional music, prayer, and chanting by the monks of the Drepung Gomang Monastery on select evenings.
