Tony nominated Blues in the Night is a sparkling array of vintage jazz & blues standards told thru dazzling performances at The Laguna Playhouse.
Blues in the Night features three women living in a cheap hotel in the 1930’s.
It explores the excitement and sorrow of life and love thru tantalizing performances and live jazz music.
Featured are 26 torch songs that emobized the thrilling and sorrowful path of love that were immortialized by beloved music icons like Bessie Smith, Duke Ellington, Johnny Mercer.
Blues in the Night showcases the musical talents of Yvette Carson, Jenna Gillespie, Paulette Ivory and Chester Gregory.
When the three female leads sing together they create a superlative harmony.
Memorable songs like “Kitchen Man” and “Take Me For A Buggy Ride” had the audience smiling and laughing.
Audience members became so engaged throughout Blues in the Night that they couldn’t resist toe tapping, hand clapping, hooting and hollering.

There is a private parking lot located behind The Laguna Playhouse.
All Day Public Parking:
There are 8 public parking lots in the City of Laguna Beach.
Prices : $10-15 all day with slight increases on weekends and holidays.
Meters:
The City of Laguna Beach has ample metered parking on Laguna Canyon Road and within the city streets.
Meters Pricing:
$2-3 per hour for a 3 hour maximum in the downtown area.
The meters accept most credit cards.
Parking is strictly enforced daily from 8:00am-9:00pm.
