City of Dana Point Public hearing and action to extend time limit for action for one year on City of Dana Point’s request to modify and add various provisions to the Zoning Ordinance, the Implementation Plan (IP) component of the City of Dana Point LCP, commonly known as the ‘1996’ .

Energy, Ocean Resources & Federal Consistency
Encinitas, San Diego County:
Executive Director determination authorizing modification to previously-concurred-with consistency certification submitted by San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) for 1.5-mile segment of double-track, between southern Encinitas and northern Solana Beach, and across San Elijo Lagoon. Modification would include authorizing permanent retention of was originally authorized as temporary construction access road on the north side of the lagoon mouth, with access to and from San Elijo Ave.
Carlsbad Aquafarms: After-the-fact authorization for 5 acre floating shellfish aquaculture operation within Agua Hedionda Lagoon and associated onshore nursery, processing, laboratory, storage and office facility.
San Clemente: Southern California Edison (SCE)
Application by Southern California Edison (SCE) to construct 210 acre low-relief kelp reef offshore of City of San Clemente, in depths ranging from 38 to 49 feet.
The proposed reef is an expansion of the existing 174 acre Wheeler North Reef that was required as mitigation for impacts associated with operation of San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) in San Clemente, Orange County
Trinidad, Humboldt County: Consistency Determination by the Bureau of Indian Affairs to place 9 land parcels currently owned in fee title by the Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of Trinidad Rancheria into federal trust status on behalf of the Rancheria; future development anticipated on the parcels includes construction of stormwater improvements and 1,300 sq.ft. visitor center.

City of Malibu: 2018 Woolsey Fire Rebuilt
Ventura County Channel Islands: Ventura County Harbor Department for repair and replacement of 1,540 linear feet of rock revetment including regrading the slope to its original grade, installing filter cloth to stabilize the slope, and replacing rock over the reshaped and covered slope located at the end of Peninsula Road.

California Coastal Commission Mission
The mission of the California Coastal Commission is to protect, conserve, restore, and enhance environmental and human-based resources of the California coast and ocean for environmentally sustainable and prudent use by current and future generations.
The Commission holds monthly public meetings of three to five days in length in different locations throughout the state.
The Commission meetings provide an opportunity for the Coastal Commissioners to take public testimony and to make permit, planning, and other policy decisions.
Prior to each meeting, Commission staff collects and analyzes information pertinent to meeting agenda items and prepares written staff reports with recommendations for Commission action.
These staff reports are available for public review, by contacting the appropriate Commission office. Some
elected staff reports are also available electronically by means of a link from the Commission’s
Meeting Notice.
