Lake Elsinore California Poppy’s Super Bloom is happening at Walker Canyon in March 2019.
The City of Lake Elsinore had arranged Weekend Shuttles for Visitors to enjoy the Super Bloom.
Local Freeways and Lake Elsinore City Streets became heavily congested on Sunday March 17 2019 due to the influx of visitors hoping to see the Super Bloom of California Poppy’s at Walker Canyon.
Officials had to eventually shut down access to Walker Canyon due to safety concerns.

The City of Lake Elsinore is allowing access to Walker Canyon on Monday March 18 2019.
Lake Elsinore Officials are trying their best to improvement access to Walker Canyon for the Saturday March 23 2019 and Sunday March 24 2019 Weekend.
Officials announced via The Lake Elsinore Facebook Page on Monday March 18 2019 that, “The City continues to evaluate all possible options to reduce the strain on our community, the freeway, and local roadways.
At this time, it is not feasible for us to keep visitors away from Walker Canyon.
We are working on a new plan and new options for the coming weekend and will be sure to share this with our community as soon as possible.”
The City of Lake Elsinore was encouraging visitors to park at The Outlets at Lake Elsinore located at 17600 Collier Avenue and ride the $5.00 Shuttle to Walker Canyon on Saturday March 16 2019 and Sunday March 17 2019.
