The Dana Point Nature Interpretive Center is hosting a Nature Tour Walk Saturday April 6 2019.

This is a Dana Point Free Family Friendly Event at 9:00am.

The walk is flexible, approximately 1.5 hours long, covering 1-2 miles.

This walk focuses on the plants and the animals that can be found on the Dana Point Headlands.

This walk focuses on the Dana Point Headlands, its trails, habitat and history.
It is designed to be a “Headlands 101” adventure.
It will introduce participants to the plants and animals located in this Coastal Sage Scrub habitat. Participants will learn about the rare and endangered animals and plants that live here as well as those typically found in this type of habitat.
This walk also explores the adaptations that help the animals and plants survive and thrive here. Included in this walk is an overview of the history of the Headlands from the 19th century to the events in the 20th and 21st century that shaped the Headlands as we know it today.

Trails are open 7AM to Sunset daily
