National Beach Safety Week is the Week Before Memorial Day Weekend (Week of May 20-May 27 2019) & May is National Water Safety Month.
The City of San Clemente reminds the Community that “our waters can be a wonderful recreational resource, but they can also be treacherous.”
Lifeguards are provided in an effort to reduce the number of accidents at the beaches, but they cannot do the job alone.
An informed public is essential to maintaining adequate levels of beach and water safety.
