Behind the Shield: A Look Inside the Curious World of Staghorn Ferns Joel Friesen
Horticulturist Joel Friesen was born in the lush rainforests of Indonesia and after studying horticulture at UC Davis he found his dream job as one of four horticulturists on staff at Sherman Gardens.
Joel discusses the quirks of growing staghorn ferns, covering everything from their peculiar lifecycle to the varied ways that they can be creatively mounted and displayed in both home and garden.
