The Tall Ships Festival Features: Cannon Battle Sails, Craft Beer Tastings, Breakfast With a Mermaid, the Parade Of Sails, Pirate Adventures, Historical Reenactments & more.

Saturday & Sunday 9:00am-10:30am: Breakfast with a Mermaid
Meet mermaid friends, make a fun mermaid craft, enjoy pancakes, and watch mermaids swim underwater!
Tickets are $55.00 and $50.00 (*Includes a Tall Ship Adventure Pass for admission to the Festival)

The Tall Ships Festival Pass includes:Tours of the Brig Pilgrim, the Spirit of Dana Point, and all visiting vessels from 10:00am to 5:00pm
Access to shops and food vendors, pirate camp, Seafarer’s Landing Activities, Sierra Nevada Beer Garden, crafts, activities, live music, and more.

Cannon Battles: Saturday September 7 2019 at 4:00pm-7:30pm
Set sail on any one of the historic tall ships and watch the sun dip below the horizon as you help the Ocean Institute kick-off the 35th annual Festival.
Experience the wind, the sounds, and the firing of the cannon as you sail along the coast in the Parade of Sail.
Must be at least 4 years and older to board.
Check-in begins at 3:00pm and boarding begins at 4:00pm.
Tickets are $65.00-$70.00
Sails ‘n Ales Party Saturday September 7 2019 at 6:00pm-9:30pm
Featuring beer tastings from Sierra Nevada, Mother Earth Brew Company, Lost Winds Brewing, Bottle Logic Brewing,Four Sons Brewing, Firestone Walker Brewing Co., Boochcraft, Docent Brewing, and Laguna 33 Brewing, Kona Pub and Brewery and Bravus Brewing Company. Live music ,Food Trucks and Mermaid Encounters, it’s an event the whole family can enjoy!

Parking Information and Directions to Tall Ship Festival
The Dana Point Ocean Institute is located in Dana Point Harbor at 24200 Dana Point Harbor Drive.
There will be no onsite parking at the Ocean Institute during the Festival and no parking in County Lots in the Harbor.
Dana Point Tall Ships Festival Parking and Shuttles
Ride the Dana Point Free Weekend Trolley to the Tall Ships Festival!
Saturday Trolley Hours are 10:00am-10:00pm
Sunday Trolley Hours are 12:00pm-9:00pm
Free Parking and Shuttle at Strands Vista Park and Dana Hills High School.
Shuttles will run throughout the Festival at 30 minute intervals.
The last shuttle will leave the Ocean Institute lot 30 minutes after Cannon Battle Cruise Ships have returned.

Strands Vista Park Parking Lot is located at 34199 Selva Road Dana Point
If traveling on the I-5 South: exit on Pacific Coast Highway.
If traveling on the I-5 North: exit at Beach Cities.
From either offramp, go past Dana Point Harbor Drive approximately 1.7 miles.
Turn left on Selva Road.
Lot will be on the right.

Dana Hills High School is located at 33333 Golden Lantern Street Dana Point
If traveling on the 5 south: Exit on Pacific Coast Highway.
If traveling on the 5 north: Exit at Beach Cities.
From either offramp go past Dana Point Harbor Drive for approximately 1.5 miles, until the signal light at Golden Lantern.
Turn Right on Golden Lantern and travel about one mile until Acapulco Dr.
At Acapulco Drive make a u-turn, and proceed to the Dana Hills parking lot on the right.
Metrolink Near The Tall Ship Festival
Take the Metrolink Orange County Line or Inland Empire Orange County Line to the San Juan Capistrano Metrolink Station.
