The County of Orange to access federal funding through the Urban County Program for FY 2021-22 through FY 2023-24 for housing and community development activities in Orange County Cities

Approval of the Agreement between the Orange County Flood Control District and the City of Laguna Beach will enable the City of Laguna Beach to improve public parking and accessways over and around segments of Laguna Canyon Channel and complete flood protection work that benefits the residents of the County of Orange.

Sheriff-Coroner – Public Hearing to consider adopting resolution approving increased fees for response to third and subsequent false alarm at same residence or business within a calendar year or any intentionally set false alarm from $85 to $141, effective 7/28/20

Approval of the County of Orange Comprehensive Zoning Code Update will amend: 1) the County of Orange Zoning Code’s format, 2) land use regulations and site development standards, 3) permit requirements and 4) parking regulations. The amendments will also clarify and revise language to limit misinterpretations, incorporate some current trends in planning and development and comply with State of California law.

Adoption of the Weed Abatement Resolution confirming the Weed Abatement Cost Report by Property from July 1, 2018, to March 31, 2019, and the FY 2019-20 Weed Abatement Cost Report by Property and providing a means to recover County of Orange costs to abate weeds and combustible vegetation on private properties in unincorporated areas of Orange County will provide the necessary mechanism to address serious fire safety concerns and public nuisances.
