Dana Point Ocean Institute Virtual Maritime Festival is Friday September 11 2020 thru Sunday September 13 2020.
The Ocean Institute is partnering worldwide with other Maritime establishments for a fantastic weekend of Maritime Festivities.

The Ocean Institute will bring together maritime establishments from around the globe, with interactive virtual experiences ranging from maritime reenactments, mermaid encounters, sea shanties, live music, and more.

Friday September 11 2020

10:00am-1:00pm: Live Metal Forging with Noah Thomas of Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum- St. Michaels, Maryland

4:00pm Live Music from the Ranch in Laguna Beach with Zach Churchill

Saturday September 12 2020

10:00am Live Interview – Danielle Doggett, Managing Director and Co-founder of SAILCARGO INC. – Costa Rica

11:00am Live interview- Skyward Digital Co-Founder Robert Cook

12:00pm Live Shanty Sing with San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park

12:30pm ROV highlights from Australia and Q & A with Schmidt Ocean Institute

1:00pm: Meet The Ocean Institute Mermaid Friends

4:00pm Live Interview with Polynesian Voyaging Society- Honolulu, Hawaii

5:00pm Music Preserves presents the history of Polynesian and Hawaiian music and the associated maritime culture- with the Kalama Brothers sponsored by Killer Dana Surf Shop

6:00pm-7:00pm: Attend Live or Watch Live Stream: Live Music with Andrew McMahon of Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin
This special evening will include drinks and food, a safe and socially distant seating, outdoor setting, and limited capacity (30 guests). Check in will begin at 5:15pm. Masks required for entry.
