Dana Point Ocean Institute Maritime Festival Saturday September 12 2020

Dana Point Ocean Institute Virtual Maritime Festival is ongoing Saturday September 12 2020 and Sunday September 13 2020.
The Ocean Institute is partnering worldwide with other Maritime establishments for a fantastic weekend of Maritime Festivities.
Andrew McMahon of Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin will be performing Saturday September 12 2020.

The Ocean Institute will bring together maritime establishments from around the globe, with interactive virtual experiences ranging from maritime reenactments, mermaid encounters, sea shanties, live music, and more.

3:00pm Live Interview with Kalmar Nyckel Watch Tall Ship Time Machine in the video collection aboard the Kalmar Nyckel- Wilmington, Delaware

4:00pm Live Interview with Polynesian Voyaging Society- Honolulu, Hawaii

5:00pm Music Preserves presents the history of Polynesian and Hawaiian music and the associated maritime culture- with the Kalama Brothers sponsored by Killer Dana Surf Shop

6:00pm-7:00pm: Attend Live or Watch Live Stream: Live Music with Andrew McMahon of Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin
This special evening will include drinks and food, a safe and socially distant seating, outdoor setting, and limited capacity (30 guests). Check in will begin at 5:15pm. Masks required for entry.
