The Cities of Irvine and Lake Forest have evacuated over 90,000 residents on Monday October 26 2020.

#SilveradoFire Location

Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) is reporting that at 6:47am on Monday October 26 2020, that a Vegetation Fire started in the area of Santiago Canyon Road and Silverado Canyon Road that is Southwest of Silverado.
There is currently zero percent containment and 7200 acres burned.
Flames have jumped the 241 Toll Road.
The City of Irvine has issued a mandatory evacuation for 60,000 residents and 20,000 homes in Orchard Hills.

2:00am: City of Lake Forest Reports that there are no new evacuation orders or warnings.

11:00pm: City of Irvine: All community centers closed for the evening at 10:00pm and will reopen tomorrow at 6:00am. Woodbridge and University High Schools will serve as overnight facilities until all individuals and families can be placed through the American Red Cross.

10:00am: City of Lake Forest reports that all of Portola Hills is under Mandatory Evacuation.

6:00pm: IMMEDIATE EVACUATION ORDER (Mandatory) for all residences between Great Park and Bake, and north of Toledo until the city limits (City of Irvine Twitter)

4:48pm: No Structure loss due to fire. 500 Firefighters Fighting Fire . 7200 Acres burned.
Zero Containment(OCFA)

Governor @GavinNewsom announced that California has secured an Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) from FEMA to help ensure the availability of vital resources to suppress the #SilveradoFire burning in Orange County.

3:55pm: The City of Lake Forest issues an evacuation warning for the zones 4,5,7,8 in Foothill Ranch.

3:42pm: City of Lake Forest Mandatory evacuation for zones 1,2,3,9 Baker Ranch area.
City is setting up a Care and Reception Center at El Toro High School located at 25255 Toledo Way.

11:50am: Current Orange County Park closures due to high winds: Craig, Irvine, Peters Canyon, Santiago Oaks, Laguna Niguel, O’Neill and Mason regional, Aliso & Wood, Laguna Coast and Whiting Ranch wilderness
