Orange County #BondFire has 25,000 Orange County Residents evacuating on Thursday December 3 2020.
Orange County Silverado Canyon Bond Fire is a wind driven structure fire that extended to nearby vegetation late Wednesday December 2 2020.
Orange County Bond Fire is at Ten Percent Containment with over 6400 acres burned.

#BondFire Location

The Bond Fire Started as a structure fire in Silverado Canyon on Bond Road that fully engulfed a home.
Strong winds pushed flames into nearby vegetation.

Bond Fire Time Line Thursday December 3 2020

8:00pm: OCFA Reports that Due to more accurate mapping, the #BondFire is at 6,400 acres w/10% containment.
Per Cal Trans: All roads are reopened except for Santiago Canyon Road.
Per OC Sheriff: Evacuation orders have been lifted in Lake Forest, North of Alton Parkway, East of the 241.

3:00pm: Orange County Fire Authority Press Conference Facebook Live

1:40pm: (2) Firefighters were injured.
OCFA reports that they were treated by firefighter paramedics and transported to a hospital for further care.

12:20pm: Mandatory Evacuation Orders:
Black Star Canyon/Baker Canyon/Silverado Canyon/Modjeska Canyon/Williams Canyon/Portola Hills/Foothill Ranch East and Foothill Ranch.

12:20pm: Voluntary Evacuation Warnings:
Cowan Heights/Lemon Heights/Live Oak Canyon/Trabuco Canyon/Rose Canyon/Holy Jim Canyon/Baker Ranch South/Foothill Ranch East

11:55am: 7200 Acres Burned. Zero Percent Containment.

10:35am: OCFA has received reports that there may be multiple structures damaged from the fire.
OCFA is in the process of verifying the number involved and the extent of damage.

10:20am: Cowan Heights and Lemon Heights are currently under evacuation warning

9:45am: 4000 Acres Burned. Zero Percent Containment. Firefighters on the Ground and in the Air.

Due to high winds and fire conditions, the following facilities are closed:

Irvine Regional, Peters Canyon, Santiago Oaks and O’Neill regional parks, OC Zoo, Irvine Lake, Irvine Ranch Open Space, Saddleback Gateway, Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park and Arden Modjeska Historic House and Gardens.

Breezy, with a northeast wind 20 to 25 mph becoming north 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
