7375 Acres Burned with Forty Percent Containment
Firefighters worked overnight to construct and reinforce fire lines, which are currently holding.
They will continue to work today (Saturday December 5 2020) to extend these fire lines and improve containment.
Despite the Red Flag Warning expiring overnight, dry conditions will continue with low humidities and the potential for gusty winds.
Moderate Santa Ana winds are expected to return on Monday (December 7 2020) and Tuesday (December 8 2020) bringing widespread critical fire weather conditions.
Damage assessment teams have begun a systematic survey of the fire area.
They have completed 40% of the fire area and will continue their assessment tomorrow (Sunday December 6 2020).

8:00pm: OCFA Reports that Due to more accurate mapping, the #BondFire is at 6,400 acres w/10% containment.
Per Cal Trans: All roads are reopened except for Santiago Canyon Road.
Per OC Sheriff: Evacuation orders have been lifted in Lake Forest, North of Alton Parkway, East of the 241.
1:40pm: (2) Firefighters were injured.
OCFA reports that they were treated by firefighter paramedics and transported to a hospital for further care.
