Dana Point City Council authorize the termination of the Joint Facilities Use Agreement between Capistrano Unified School District (CUSD) and the City of Dana Point effective February 2, 2022 and authorize the City Manager to notify Capistrano Unified School District of the termination
Currently, CUSD can rent out Dana Hills High School (DHHS) facilities during non school hours.
This came about in 1995, when CUSD paid for improvements in relations to Sports Fields.
Per the Contract, The City is allowed to opt out at this time.
This would allow the City of Dana Point to have control over the renting out DHHS facilities during non school hours.
