The City’s Public Works Department will be painting traffic signal equipment at a number of intersections citywide starting February 4 2021.
Why Dana Point Traffic Signals Need To Be Painted
This is done typically every four years to protect signal heads and other signal equipment from corrosion.
It also provides for more contrast for the driver creating a safer driving experience.
Dana Point Traffic Signals Painting Will Be Done With Minimum Impact
Several intersections will be done at once.
Expect lane closures at various times, but much of the work will be done from the side of the road to avoid impact.
Dana Point will execute the work as expeditiously as possible.
