FDA and CDC Recommend The Use of the Johnson & Johnson Vaccine
Following a thorough safety review, including two meetings of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have determined that the recommended pause regarding the use of the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) COVID-19 Vaccine in the U.S. should be lifted and use of the vaccine should resume.

Disneyland Closes Drive Thru POD Vaccination Site
The Disneyland Drive-Thru POD site will close its operation indefinitely at the end of the day today.
Individuals requiring an ADA-compliant in-car vaccination should schedule an appointment at the Soka University, OC Fair & Event Center or Santa Ana College POD sites.
Othena Vaccination Record Program Has Been Postponed By OC Board Of Supervisors
The program by which those vaccinated through the County’s Othena system will be able to produce a record to show they have been vaccinated has been delayed pending County Board of Supervisors approval.
Orange County Is In The Orange Tier
The County continues to remain in Orange Tier, as the County’s case rate, while improved, is still not below 2 cases per day, per 100,000 residents. Once the case rate moves below 2 cases per day, per 100,000, the County will be eligible to move into Yellow Tier.
