Free Men is an award-winning French film.
In German occupied Paris, a young Algerian named Younes earns his living as a black marketeer.
After being arrested by the French police, he is given a chance to avoid jail time by spying on the Paris mosque.
At the mosque, Younes meets the Algerian singer Salim Halali.
When Younes finds out the singer is Jewish, he stops helping the police and becomes a freedom fighter.
