The 35th Annual Velzy Surf Classic and Luau is at Dana Point Doheny State Beach Saturday October 7 2023.
This is a Dana Point Family Friendly Event.
This is a fun family event to celebrate Dale Velzy’s life and the enjoyment of surfing.
The Surf contest will include Longboard Competitions and Tandem Surf Contest.
Velzy Surf Classic and Luau Schedule
7:30am-3:00pm: Surfing Contest
3:00pm: Luau Starts
Luau: includes Polynesian Dancers and Live Music Traditional Luau dinner water and soda.

Luau: $30.00. Kids 10 and under with paying adult is free.
Must have ID for 21-& over wristbands (BYOB)
3:00pm: Surfboards Raffle

There is day use paid parking at Doheny State Beach.
