Public Hearings
Public Hearing to consider approving FY 2024-25 Annual Action Plan; approve Federal allocation of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development new, reprogramed and program income Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership Act, Emergency Solutions Grant funds and State and Local funds (aggregate total $6,715,943); approve providers, projects and contracts with various providers for public services, housing rehabilitation and public facilities and improvement activities; authorize Director or designee to submit all contracts and ministerial administrative documents for implementation to U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; authorize County Procurement Officer or Deputized designee to exercise cost contingency increase not to exceed 10% under certain conditions and execute Community Development Block Grant contracts; designate Director of Housing and Community Development or designee to act as a certifying officer under certain conditions; approve amendment 3 to agreement 13-23-629465 with Abrazar, Inc. for operation of Midway City Community Center, 7/1/24 – 6/30/26; and authorize Director or designee to execute amendment 3 and related documents; Acting as the Board of Supervisors and Orange County Housing Authority – Authorize OCCR to utilize up to $100,000 in federal HOME Investment Partnerships program funds and/or Operating Reserve funds, FY 2024-25 to fund tenant-based rental assistance activities to be performed by Orange County Housing Authority and return to the Board to approve future annual allocations
Public Hearing to consider adopting resolution updating Development Services Fee Schedule, effective 7/21/24 and rescinding Resolution 20-089; and making California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption findings under Public Resources Code Section 21080(b)(8) and CEQA Guidelines Section 15273 and other related findings
