Orange County Sheriff Department Reports that “On Thursday October 17 2024 Orange County will be testing the county’s AlertOC system with a large-scale drill.”

“This test will simulate a major emergency, dialing thousands of numbers simultaneously across the county to test the system’s capabilities.”
