This is a Dana Point Free Family Friendly Event form 8:00am to 3:00pm. Parking Fees may apply.
Doheny Wood is one of the Premier Woodie Events of the year, presented by the largest Woodie organization in the world, Southern California Woodie Club.
Doheny Wood is a wooden vehicle only event, presented every October at beautiful Doheny State Beach in Dana Point California.
It is the only Woodie event that is held on the sand of the emerald blue Pacific Ocean.
The event has been running continuously since 1997 and has around 100 Woodies of all makes and models in attendance.
Doheny Wood offers a large raffle including many Woodie and surf related items.
PLEASE NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED except as noted below
6:00AM – Doheny State Park gates open for volunteers and set up.
7:00AM – Doheny Wood gate opens for Woodie owners.
8:00AM – Show Opens to Woodie lovers.
9:00AM – Doheny Wood 2024 Welcome Ceremony. USMC Color Guard.
Morning Presentations & Announcements
9:30AM – Silent Auction & Opportunity Raffles begin.
12:30PM – Silent Auction ends.
1:00PM – Opportunity Raffle ends.
2:00PM – Trophy presentations.
3:00PM – Woodie Show concludes
Picnic & Grass Area, open to Woodie owners & guests for socializing.
Breakdown Show and Set-Up BBQ Dinner Celebration.
5PM- Dinner, picnic area “A”
5:00PM – Evening celebration commences at Doheny State Park Picnic Area “A”.
BBQ Dinner provided by the Southern California Woodie Club. There is a dinner donation of $20.00, purchase your dinner tickets at the garment booth at Doheny Wood, before 12:00pm (Noon).
Water, Wine and Beer provided by So Cal Woodie Club.
Woodie club members that would like to bring a dessert please do.
Beer, soda and bottled water will be provided. Any other spirits please BYOB.
8:00 PM Event conclusion. But you stay as late as you want and/or Doheny Beach is open.
There is a parking charge by the State of California to park inside the State Park.
