We are receiving significant flooding, mud and debris flow reports occurring across the area. Please avoid traveling until conditions improve.
The National Weather Service stated on Wednesday February 12 2025,
“By Friday morning, accumulating snow is expected at the highest elevations of the mountains as snow levels fall from 8000 feet to closer to 6000 feet. This will be occurring at the same time as the moisture/precipitation moves out, so most locations below 8000 feet will have more rain than snow over the next few days.”
The National Weather Service states that, “A Flood Watch is in effect for all of San Luis Obispo county as well as the recent burn scars in Santa Barbara, Ventura and LA counties.
Significant roadway flooding is likely along with mud/debris flows in the recent burn areas.”
