Orange County Sheriff Department explains on their Facebook Page “On Wednesday September 17 2025 we’ll be testing our county’s AlertOC system with a large-scale drill.
This test will simulate a major emergency, dialing thousands of numbers simultaneously across the county to test the system’s capabilities.”
