Award-winning author Marjorie McCown spent more than twenty years in Hollywood working on the costume design for major studio films including
Forrest Gump, Apollo 13, and X-Men: Days of Future Past before turning to fiction.
She trained in theater and fashion design at the University of Virginia and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
Her debut novel, Final Cut (Crooked Lane Books, 2023), was an Amazon Editors’ Pick and was named one of the Best Cozy Mysteries of the Year by Deadly Pleasures Mystery Magazine.
