Laguna Beach Arts Commission Meeting This Afternoon at 5:30pm.

The Laguna Beach Art Commission will be meeting today,
Monday August 11,2014 at 5:30pm.
The meeting will be held at 505 Forest Avenue Laguna Beach.
Agenda items are as follows:
A. 2014 Artist Designed Bench Competition – Discuss and approve competition guidelines. (Ballard)
B. September Sunset Serenades – Introduction schedule and update report. (Kollenda)
C. City Council Joint Meeting – Discuss agenda items for the City Council and Arts Commission joint meeting on September 16, 2014.(Mansour)
D. Police Memorial Sculpture – Update report. (Staff)

Public Communications – In order to assist the Arts Commission in the timely completion of its business, speakers are asked to limit any one of their presentations to three minutes or less. The Chairperson of the Arts Commission may extend this time for good cause. Names and, if given, addresses of speakers will be part of the official records and meeting minutes are placed on the City’s web-site.

San Clemente Meeting Tonight To Discuss Policy Review on Relocating or Replacing Public Trees for Private Views

The San Clemente Golf Course Meeting is scheduled for tonight, Thursday August 7. 2014 at 7:00pm at San Clemente City Hall Council Chambers. The new business tonight is a discussion of the city’s current policy on city tree removal for benefit of private views. The current policy does not allow for city trees to be removed for view purposes. They will discuss if the current policy should be changed so city trees can be removed to benefit private views. The meeting tonight is open to the public. San Clemente City Hall is located at 100 Presidio.

Dana Point Town Center Plan and Lantern District Street Improvement Project

The Dana Point Town Center Plan and Lantern District Street Improvement Project is on going. There is a workshop tonight at 6:30pm. The city of Dana Point will be hosting a community meeting that is open to the public. The meeting site is the Dana Point Community Center Gym at 34052 Del Obispo Street.
