The St. Regis Resort in Dana Point Hosts a Sustainable Seafood Dinner Tonight at 6:30pm

The St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach is hosting a Sustainable Seafood Dinner tonight, Thursday October 16 2014.
You’re invited to enjoy an exclusive evening with James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Mina at his Stonehill Tavern restaurant at the St. Regis Monarch Beach. Michael, alongside Stonehill Tavern’s Executive Chef Raj Dixit, has created a five-course dinner highlighting the freshest, locally caught, sustainable seafood. Benefitting the Resort’s neighbor, The Ocean Institute, an ocean education organization in Dana Point, the dinner will feature impeccable seafood dishes, as well as organic wine pairings and presentations from chefs Mina and Dixit, as well as an Ocean Institute representative.

Dishes include a Sunset Shellfish station on the Restaurant’s ocean view terrace paired with champagne, as well as the main course – Local Rockfish Cioppino utilizing the whole fish. During the evening, guests will have the opportunity to participate in the Resort’s raffle for $10 per ticket, with prizes including a Chef’s Tasting Menu Dinner with wine pairings for two at Stonehill Tavern, Sunday Champagne Brunch for two at Motif, an overnight stay at the Resort, and more.

Seats are limited and are $165 per person inclusive of organic wine pairings, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Ocean Institute.

You’re invited to experience the exclusive Farm-to-Feast event with the talented chefs of the St. Regis Monarch Beach, taking place at the Resort’s Botanical Garden on Sunday, August 17 from 4pm-8pm. Enjoy an evening of ocean views and supporting local farmers and artisan products, while enjoying chef prepared dishes by the Resort’s award-winning culinary team. Executive Chef Raj Dixit of Michael Mina’s Stonehill Tavern and Executive Resort Chef Frederic Castan, with Executive Chef Graem Blair of Motif Restaurant and the Resort’s Pastry Chef Frederick Moreau, along with Chef Franck Tassic of Monarch Bay Club and Larson Warkentin of Club 19, will be offering their delectable seasonal tastings.
