Dana Point Planning Commission Meeting Last Night Review

The Dana Point Residents for Responsible Development group posted the following response on their Facebook Page about the Dana Point Planning Commission meeting that was held last night.

“Progress was made tonight at the Dana Point Planning Commission meeting when Majestic Development proposed a new plan that had much better architectural design, created more public space, and claimed they were taking the variances out of their project. New renderings and drawings were shown that were a huge improvement over their original submittal but it still needs work in terms of density, parking, loading zones and not exceeding the Town Center Master Plan height limit of 40 feet. This meeting was a workshop for Majestic to show the changes so no vote was taken by the Commission members. The project will be continued until the next meeting in September and hopefully there will be new drawings submitted that can be reviewed in advance. Stay tuned…”
