Crystal Cove State Beach is presenting REI’s Sunset Photography Class Sunday October 25 2015.
Event Time: 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
Event Price: $45.00 for REI Members and $65.00 for non members
Direction to Crystal Cove Lower Moro Lot:
8471 North Pacific Coast Highway Laguna Beach
Take Pacific Coast Highway to School/State Park traffic signal.
Turn inland at School/State Park traffic signal and follow signs to Visitor Center/Ranger Station.
There are two parking areas:
Proceed to the right Lower Moro Day Use Area –
REI Outdoor School will meet in the parking area in front of the amphitheater.
$15 Day Use fee.
Use the evening light to hone your outdoor photography skills!
You will hike in a beautiful park to a spot that offers views of the hills, streetlights and starscapes, and discuss techniques for shooting in limited light.
You will also cover exposure bracketing and the use of a tripod.
Photographers of all levels using film or digital cameras are encouraged to attend.
Bring your camera and tripod along with the owners’ manual.
Previous participation in Outdoor Photo Basics in-store class is highly recommended.
Skills you’ll learn:
Learn how to adjust your camera (and your eyes) for evening and nighttime environments.
Learn how to manage the use of natural light and flashes.
Have an opportunity to learn night hiking skills.
Discover animals and birds that are active at dusk.
