The Ecology Center San Juan Capistrano hosts their Farm to Fork Fall Flavors Cooking Class Sunday October 25 2015.

Hands-on cooking classes begin with harvesting seasonal farm-fresh ingredients in the garden to create a delicious nutritious meal.

The Ecology Center is located at 32701 Alipaz Street in San Juan Capistrano.

The Ecology Center Farm to Fork adult series of cooking classes teaches you how to prepare dishes using seasonal produce.

The Ecology Center encourages you to use produce that you would find at your local farmer’s market or growing in your backyard!

First you will tour The Ecology Center’s orchard, veggie and herb gardens, and end with the preparation and enjoyment of a meal.

This is a hands on cooking class that teaches you how to utilize the rich flavors of the fall and create delicious, fresh food.

Learn the best ways to seed a pomegranate and creative ideas for fall cocktails.

Tartines with Brown Butter Butternut Puree, Sautéed Garden Greens and Parmesan

Kale Salad with Poppy Seed-Crusted Acorn Squash, Pomegranate & Maple Cider Vinaigrette

Coconut Curry Pumpkin Soup with Toasted Pepitas & Mustard Seeds

Heirloom Squash Risotto with Fried Sage

Cast Iron Apple Cobbler, Topped Freshly Whipped Vanilla Cream and Sugared Flowers
