Truck Spill on Southbound 5 Fwy In San Onofre Friday February 12 2016

UPDATE: 10:00am Friday February 12 2016:
The California Highway Patrol is not reporting any issues with the 5 Fwy Southbound in San Onofre.
It appears that the truck spill is cleaned up and that traffic is moving in a normal pattern.

The California Highway Patrol(CHP) is reporting that a Big Rig Truck spilled contents onto the Southbound 5 Fwy near San Onofre at 5:30am Friday February 12 2016.
This will affect your commute if you are heading towards San Diego on this Holiday weekend.

This Big Rig accident happened near the Aliso Creek Rest Area.

The accident scattered paper and boxes on the roadway.

The CHP has shut down the number 3 and 4 lanes.

The closure is expected till last all morning on Friday February 12 2016.

The CHP is asking motorists to slow down in the area and to expect delays.
