Laguna Art Museum presents a variety of exhibitions, programs, events, and activities on the theme of art’s multi-faceted engagement with the natural world.
Saturday November 3 2018 at 11:00am-12:45pm: Art & Nature Film: Leaning Into the Wind – Andy Goldsworthy
Follows Goldsworthy on the exploration of the layers of his world and the impact of the years on himself and his art.
As Goldsworthy introduces his own body into the work, it becomes more fragile and personal and at the same time sterner and tougher, requiring massive machinery and crews on the bigger projects.

Saturday November 3 2018 at 5:30pm-7:30pm: Shoreline Project
Elizabeth Turk’s “Shoreline Project” will bring together 1,000 volunteer performers for a site-specific performance at Main Beach in Laguna Beach.
With LED-illuminated umbrellas designed as an evolution of the artist’s “Seashell X-ray Mandala” series, the 1,000 performers will converge on the shoreline in both spontaneous and choreographed movement.
“Shoreline Project” will create a shared common experience amongst the performers and an engaging spectacle for viewers from the surrounding cliffs and buildings.
Laguna Beach Main Beach is located at Pacific Coast Highway and Laguna Canyon Road.
This is a Laguna Beach Free Family Friendly Event.
