Physical activity which keeps individuals in non-stationary active motion

Beach towels, blankets, easy-ups, tents, umbrellas, etc.- items used for settling in place
Sitting or lying on beach

California State Beaches Information During COVID-19
No Parking at all Orange County State Beaches during COVID-19.
Temporarily closed to vehicular access, meaning there are no parking facilities and parking on roadways is prohibited to protect public health from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Although the beach is open to local residents, they must abide by the following guidelines:
Stay Local: Walk or bike into the beach. (Do not drive to the beach)
Keep It Moving: Keep walking, jogging, surfing, swimming, etc.
(No sitting. No sunbathing.)
Stay Safer at 6 Feet: Maintain a physical distance of 6 feet or more.
Visitors are being asked to leave if there are too many people at the beach or on trails to allow for the required physical distance.

Laguna Beach Beaches Open For Active Use
Hours: 6:00am-10:00pm for Active Recreation on Monday thru Friday
Hours: 6:00am-12:00pm for Active Recreation on Saturday and Sunday
These new hours are on a trial basis.
Beachgoers are required to maintain at least six feet of physical distance from one another.
All dogs must be on a leash.
While visiting the beach, please remember to honor social distancing requirements and to keep all dogs on a leash. If you require ADA Accommodations to access the beach, contact the Laguna Beach Marine Safety Department at (949) 494-6572.
Beaches Open from 4:30am-10:00pm Monday thru Sunday
The 1 , 8 , and 10 Street Beach Parking Lots will also reopen
To ensure social distancing requirements are being followed, 50% of the parking spaces will be closed. Beachgoers will be required to park in every other parking stall
Parking with a vessel trailer/rack in boat launch lots only (Sunset Aquatic Park).
Beachgoers will still be required to remain active and no passive use will be allowed.
