Active Beach Recreation Allowed
Walking ACTIVE RECREATION PERMITTED BEACH ACTIVITIES (including, but not limited to):
Walking/Running/Jogging
Ocean recreation: swimming, paddle boarding, surfing, bodyboarding, skim boarding, kayaking
Physical activity which keeps individuals in non-stationary active motion
Non Permitted Beach Activities
Gatherings
Beach towels, blankets, easy-ups, tents, umbrellas, etc.- items used for settling in place
Sitting or lying on beach
Setting up chairs and staying in place
Picnics/coolers/tables
Laguna Beach Beaches Are Open
County Beaches in South Laguna Beach (Aliso, Table Rock, West, Camel Point, and Treasure Island beaches)
Hours: 6:00am thru 10:00pm Daily.
Thousand Steps Beach Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm Daily
(please note the access way and restroom at Thousand Steps are closed)

Laguna Beach Beaches Open For Active Use
Hours: 6:00am-10:00pm for Active Recreation on Monday thru Friday
Hours: 6:00am-12:00pm for Active Recreation on Saturday and Sunday
These new hours are on a trial basis.
Beachgoers are required to maintain at least six feet of physical distance from one another.
All dogs must be on a leash.
While visiting the beach, please remember to honor social distancing requirements and to keep all dogs on a leash.
