Cancelling large gatherings is important to help slow the spread of COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Huntington Beach City Council voted on Wednesday July 1 2020 to close the City Beaches on the 4th of July 2020 Holiday.
The City Stated via their Facebook Page, “Orange County has seen a significant increase in COVID-19 cases this week, and these closures are proactive measures to enforce social distancing.”
