The National Drive Electric Week is during the week of September 15 thru September 21 2014. Your can participate in this campaign by attending a event near you. Each event is scheduled to have all the electric car models on the market right now. Test Driving should be available. Owners will be bringing their electric vehicles. Talk to the owners and get reliable information about being able to drive a electric vehicle in your everyday life.
I have been driving a Nissan Leaf for three years. It can work in your life!

Sunday September 21 2014: Laguna Hills will be the site of a event from 10:00am to 3:00 pm.
The event will take place at 24001 El Toro Road. ( the event will be in the parking area of Total Wine and Chick Fil)

“Small Time” is from Joel Surnow, co-creator of 24, steps away from guiding Jack Bauer in saving the country to examine one tiny corner of it in Small Time, his aptly named bigscreen directorial debut, featuring a fine cast that’s logged plenty time on the TV beat. A warm-hearted coming-of-age family drama grafted onto a comic buddy pic, the film focuses on a used-car dealer whose son joins him on the lot after graduating from high school, to the dismay of the ex-wife he still has feelings for.

The Dana Point Ritz Carlton is hosting Yappy Hour tonight,
Thursday September 18 2014 from 5:00pm thru 8:00pm.
The Hotel is located at 1 Ritz Carlton Drive in Dana Point.
Paid Parking is available at Salt Creek State Beach Park, across the street from the Resort.
Follow Fido to Yappy Hour, a monthly cocktail party for canines and their companions at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Pooches, hounds and pups enjoy complimentary hand-made dog biscuits and lapping up refreshing libations, thanks to bacon, chicken, cheese, beef and liver flavored water, while their companions can purchase burgers, brews and wines. This year’s proceeds from Yappy Hour and The Diamond Ball will support the Wounded Veterans Initiative of Canine Companions for Independence, and will help offset some of the unique costs associated with Canine Companion’s Southwest Region puppy raising program. Canine Companions has had more than 360 volunteer puppy raisers in Orange County and the funds raised through Yappy Hour will be dedicated for puppy training and obedience classes, transportation of puppies to their new puppy raisers, spaying and neutering, and boarding costs for puppies in heat.

The San Clemente Watershed Task Force Auction:
A top art auction partners San Clemente Watershed Task Force with the San Clemente Art Association.
Two of San Clemente’s funniest MC’s -Mayor Tim Brown and Artist George Gooch of the San Clemente Art Association- will join together to amuse and amaze Watershed Task Force Auction-goers on Friday, Sept. 12 at the San Clemente Art Gallery, 100 No. Calle Seville (entrance on Ave. Del Mar). The event is the only fund raising activity of the year for the San Clemente Watershed Task Force. Funds gathered at the auction allow the Watershsed Task Force to put on the Earth Day Event, Beach Clean-ups and Adopt-A-Beach programs in San Clemente every year.
Bids Will Start at $10.00
In addition to beautiful paintings, exquisite pottery and sculpture donated by the Art Association, this year’s auction will also feature Oakley Sunglasses (value – over $200 per pair), a ride in a vintage Stearman bi-plane aircraft donated by Eileen and Bob Hayden of the Yanks Air Museum in Chino, vacation package to Rancho Mirage, fishing trips, Spa packages, and numerous gift certificates from local merchants, and a “mystery box”. Ostensibly the story of a pioneer woman and her six daughters, Quilters blends a series of interrelated scenes into a rich mosaic which captures the sweep and beauty, the harsh challenge and rewards of frontier life. Illuminating stories contained in various patches of music, dance, and drama, the action depicts the lot of women on the frontier with warmth and love.

Laguna Art Museum Presents Live! at the Museum: Ceora Winds
Thursday, September 11 2014 at 7:00-8:00 p.m.
This event is Free for museum members; free for non-members with museum admission ($5.00-$7.00)
Ceora Winds is comprised of Michelle Matsumune (flute), Heather Millette (clarinet), and Christin Webb (bassoon). The trio have played chamber music together for ten years, performing throughout Southern California and across the country. Equally adept at classical standards, jazz arrangements, and everything in between, Ceora Winds brings the joy of true chamber music to the museum’s galleries. The title of the evening’s program is “If Music Be the Food of Love, Play On!” and special guest mezzo-soprano Jenni Brandon will join in to sing a few songs.
Live! at the Museum is an ongoing series of early-evening concerts in the museum’s galleries, a feast of sight and sound. In presenting the series, Laguna Art Museum has partnered with Laguna Beach Live!, an organization cherished by music lovers for its work in bringing performances by top-level, professional musicians to the Laguna Beach community. Not only are the galleries an appropriately beautiful setting in which to experience great music, they also boast fine acoustics. The concerts take place the second Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
To reserve your tickets, please make a reservation online through our website, or contact Membership Manager Valerie Tate at 949.494.8971 x203. Tickets will not be available for online purchasing after 4:00 p.m. the day of the concert, but will be available at the museum front desk. Reservation holders are advised to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the performance, otherwise your seats will be released to the waiting list. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis (only 70 seats available).
